Now that Thou hast opened my eyes
to see beauty and glory
I will spend my mortal life and all of eternity
gazing upon Thee
Alas, the highest heights and greatest sights
pale in comparison to Thy majesty
the brightest stars dim in Thy presence
for what more can be illumined in the light of Thine effervescent light?
Vibrant colors of autumn and spring
point us evermore to Thee
the patterns of spider webs
speak to Thine endless creativity
How can it be that Thou, in nature divine and holy,
hast chosen one of nature so pungent and odious to Thee?
